The greatest way to learn the basics of meditation is through a retreat. The meditation retreat will be led by Lama Choedak Rinpoche.
In East Gippsland's Snowy River Country, there is a stunning and welcoming Buddhist retreat centre called SIBA. Consecrated land, immaculate surroundings, cosy lodging, delectable cuisine, a warm neighbourhood and a laid-back ambience - all contribute to a successful and delightful meditation retreat.
Lama Chodeak Rinpoche will guide this 10-day meditation retreat. Lama Rinpoche is an expert in the field of Buddhist meditation because he had a lengthy retreat in the Tibetan Buddhist monastic tradition and taught for many years in the west.
His clear, sincere, and humorous explanation of meditation and its application to daily life is known for its profundity. His lectures come from the heart and are seasoned with the depth of his expertise, commitment, and realisation.
It has been seven years since Rinpoche introduced the profound Single A meditation and Calm Abiding Meditation together, and both seasoned practitioners and newcomers have praised the combination.
Newcomers to meditation will find the instruction clear and meaningful while experienced practitioners discover new tools for engaging with their meditation practice that they did not have before.
There will also be daily practises and evening recitations of the mantra OM MANI PADME HUM.
All are welcome!
