This Sunday Marguarita will be at Holder Centre to lead the Calm Abiding session followed by a Dharma talk. The topic of this week is - How to Improve Self Motivation.
The ability to motivate yourself is an important skill. Self-motivation drives people to keep going even in the face of set-backs, to take up opportunities and show commitment to whatever you want to achive. Motivation is what pushes us to achive our goals, fee more fulfilled and improve our quality of life.
Marguarita has been parctising meditation since 1980 when she first started doing Yoga and Meditation classes. She met Lama Choedak in 1995 when he was giving a talk on Buddhism and Meditation for University of Canberra students studying for their Bachelor of Community Education degree. She first studied Calm Abiding Meditation in 2003 and has been benefiting from this practice ever since. Marguarita has been on many retreats which include Calm Abiding Meditation with Train the Trainer, White Tara, Ngondro and Lamdre.
You are able to attend the session in different ways.
