Summary of our First Community Engagement Meeting

By Joseph Frawley on 10th February 2018, 10:43

Dear Community,

The purpose of our last Community Engagement Forum, held at Evatt on 3 December 2017, was to provide an opportunity for people to work together in exploring some of the key issues vital to their engagement with the Society, the attainment of fulfilment from being a member and the future success of the Society.

What follows in the PDF below are the 7 specific questions that were addressed at the meeting and a summary of the responses. This summary will close with a list proposed actions that arose from the day and an invitation to come together on 25 February 2018 to prioritise those and get moving on them.

The key, going forward, is to agree on the specific actions that will ensure the Society is relevant to you and meets your needs. This ensures the future success of the Society.

With this in mind, please see the attached PDF that explains where we are in our community building initiative.

The next step is to meet again and agree on the go forward, to come up with a plan and priorities, to start working towards those priorities. That meeting is scheduled for 25 February 2018 and its success requires your commitment and attendance.

Until then, our warm regards,

Mark, Joseph and Jampal.
