Lamdre is presently in progress in Kuala Lumpa. Rinpoche has sent a message to say that it is going very well.

With nearly 600 people in attendance the largest contingent is from China including many khenpos and monks from Derge and Minyak.

200 people are english speakers which Lama Choedak Rinpoche was personally requested by His Holiness Sakya Trizin to translate for. The rest are Chinese. There are at least 120 ordained sangha with over twenty from Australia.

Lama Choedak Rinpoche's Australian group of students made a mandala offering to His Holiness today and had a private audience.

His Holiness told Rinpoche he should offer him an award for the excellence in teaching and translation called 'Mawai Wangxhuk'. Rinpoche replied that His blessing is enough!
