Manjushri is one of the eight exalted Bodhisattvas in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, and symbolises the wisdom aspect.
Known as "The Lord Of Speech", Manjushri is said to increase one's aptitude in learning and study, tame one's speech for benefit, and, at a deeper level, lead to the realisation of profound wisdom and special insight.
It is very auspicious that His Holiness the 42nd Sakya Trizin is bestowing the profound practice of Manjushri, as it is said that Sakya lineage masters are actual manifestations of Manjushri in human form.
