23rd Annual Hevajra Retreat

Registration is closed for this event
Everyone who has received Lamdre teachings and need to increase their knowledge of the practice of Hevajra have this excellent once a year opportunity to attend the annual Hevajra Retreat.

Lama Choedak RinpocheOur annual Hevajra Retreat is held every year to help initiates of Lamdre to renew their connection and deepen their knowledge of the Sadhana and its deep and profound teachings. All Lamdre recipients are encouraged to attend as such retreats are very rare to be conducted anywhere in the world, let alone in Australia.

*Note: This is retreat is strictly for those who are initiates of both the Hevajra Cause and Path empowerment and Lamdre recipients.

Since His Holiness Sakya Trizin gave Lamdre in Vajradhara Gompa in 1997 our centre has hosted annual Hevajra retreats in Canberra.

Over the years, Lama Choedak Rinpoche has led all the retreats giving extensive teachings on the long and middle length Sadhana like no other.

Rinpoche’s vast knowledge and experience places him as one of the few Sakya Lamas who is qualified to do so.

Rinpoche completed his three-year retreat during which Hevajra was the main practice. He is the only ‘Lamdre Drub-la’ in Australia who has completed the Lamdre retreat under the guidance of Kyabje Chogye Trichen Rinpoche.

All attendees are requested to stay for the full duration of the retreat.
