The Tibetan Buddhist Society of Canberra warmly invites you to our second Community Engagement Forum, to be held on Sunday 25th February at 11:30am.

Last December, we hosted our first ever Community Engagement Forum. We had a great response, with a well-attended event full of energetic people and many new ideas. Gathering momentum for fundraising our new Stupa Temple of Peace was a centerpiece of many discussions.

We want to report back to you on the action items we created and ask you to join us in realising some great fundraising plans we have been working on.

An open letter, summarising the main points of the last meeting and what they mean for our community, can be found here. Please take the time to read it.

Like the last forum, this event will be chaired by Mark Dixon who has been working hard on compiling the minutes of the last meeting to find workable outcomes for our community. Jampal and Joseph will also be present to assist Mark in obtaining the most from the meeting.

Please Register your Attendance so we can get an idea of numbers.

There will be a Calm Abiding Meditation session at 11am.

Please bring a plate to share with everyone after the meeting.

For those not in Canberra, we will be streaming the event for you to participate in!
Please Register your attendance or email us at [email protected] to let us know that you'd like a link to the virtual meeting.
