Training - Retreats
Annual
October Calm Abiding Retreat
This is one of the most popular retreats and usually attracts
more than 100 attendees who go home as changed people.
After teaching and living in the west for many years, Lama
Choedak Rinpoche has dedicated much of his time to the promotion
and practice of Calm Abiding Meditation in the West.
He teaches his well-structured method of this simple but profound
meditation practice throughout Australia and then holds an
annual 10-day retreat in October.
The annual retreat has been held since he established Rongton
Buddhist Training College in 1996.
People book for this retreat months ahead.
This practice will help you become relaxed, focused and peaceful.
It enables you to identify the real causes of unhappiness
and recover from stress, anxiety and tension.
Meditation is a tool that helps you remove undesirable old
habits, improve self confidence and add a touch of dignity
and sacredness to your life.
With practice you will be able to integrate a sense of calmness
into everyday activities and transform negative situations
into something positive.
Come and enjoy learning a time-proven skill that will bring
you lifelong happiness.
