Calm Abiding Meditation is an active process. The way we do this is through posture, breath as an object of meditation, working with pain, empowering speech and problem resolution. You’ll be skilled up in these by the end of the course.
My background is that I have been a meditator for ten years. I came to the Tibetan Tradition for meditation after trying some other forms and traditions. I have completed a 3 month solitary retreat.
My initial motivation was to improve my health as I suffered from anxiety and depression. This cloud has been gradually lifting with my practice and I am pleased to say that I quite comfortable and optimistic with how things are going.
I have a lot to be grateful to my teacher Lama Choedak Rinpoche for guiding me through this process. See the picture of Rinpoche and myself.
I draw from experiences as an Economist in the Bureau of Transport and Economics, a Primary school teacher for several years and more recently a general hand in our family property management company. I am qualified with a Bachelor in Law, have contributed to the State Emergency Services and Royal Life Saving Society.
Should you wish to join me in this practical course, leave a message on my phone 0421 346637, email me on [email protected] or just turn up on the day. I look forward to our time sharing and practising this ancient wisdom and hope you can join me.
Kind regards,
