WORKSHOP: Introduction to Meditation with a Tibetan Lama

Registration is closed for this event
"We all have an instinct to be calm and have calm. There is never a time when we do not wish to be calm. Calmness is in our nature; it is in the hearts and minds of every one of us. Calm abiding is the safest way of being; it is in fact active peace."

- Lama Choedak Rinpoche, from his bestselling book Healing Relationships

In this special one day workshop, Lama Choedak Rinpoche will give in-depth teachings on the simple yet transformative practice of Calm Abiding Meditation.

Mindfulness and meditation are frequently mentioned these days in the corridors of health centres, doctor’s waiting room etc. People from all walks of life are attending classes, however these classes are often offered by those who have never done any training themselves.

This workshop is an excellent opportunity to spend one day with an experienced meditation teacher. Lama Choedak Rinpoche, one of the most sought after Tibetan Buddhist teachers living in Australia, will offer this one day workshop in meditation for the benefit of those who have had little or no experience of doing meditation. This workshop serves as a full explanation of meditation practice, and is a special opportunity for current students of meditation to deepen their understanding of this fundamental Buddhist method for peaceful living.

Please bring a plate to share for lunch.

Places are limited for this workshop so bookings are essential.
