COURSE: The Three Levels of Spiritual Perception – Canberra

The Three Levels of Spiritual Perception (nang-sum) is a system of meditation that is practiced by all committed students of the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. This special course will be presented by Venerable Jamyang.

ManjushriIn particular, it is considered to be the preparation and foundation for more ‘esoteric’ meditations such as deity-yoga.

In this four-week course, Aussie-born Buddhist monk Venerable Jamyang will teach on this system, which will include guided analytical meditations, as well as explanation of the relevance of these practices in the wider scope of the Buddhist teachings.

All are welcome.

Ven. Jamyang is a long-term student of Lama Choedak Rinpoche and has been ordained as a monk for eleven years. He assists Rinpoche in the translation of Tibetan Buddhist literature, and has completed a major in the academic study of Sanskrit.
