Three Day Calm Abiding Meditation Retreat

Special event with Lama Choedak Rinpocha held at Paluma rainforest, 80km north of Townsville, North Queensland. Includes teachings on Sutra of the Three Heaps.

Calm Abiding Meditation is the fundamental Buddhist meditation promoting the practice of effective use of mindfulness practice in every- day life.

Meditation and Mindfulness is the buzz word these days but Rinpoche has been conducting these retreats for twenty years.

As a compliment to this practice, this year Lama Choedak Rinpoche will give the oral transmission and teach on the use of the Sutra of Three Heaps. It is a short discourse given by the Buddha on how to do daily, periodical and regular cleansing of misdeeds and obscurations through the recitation of meditation on the practice known as the 'Three Heaps' in association with Thirty Five Buddhas. This practice and teachings on it will be incorporated as part of the retreat. This is a great gift to learn to do this practice.
