Hevajra Sadhana practice is at the core of Lamdre teachings of the Sakyapa Order of Tibetan Buddhism. HH Sakya Trizin has given Lamdre three times in Australia in 1988, 1996 and 2009 and many people have received both Hevajra cause and path empowerments both in Australia and overseas.
Since 1997, the centre has been hosting annual Hevajra study retreats with Lama Choedak Rinpoche, who has been leading every retreat all these years. These retreats have helped all practitioners to increase their commitment and understanding of the practice. All who have received Hevajra cause and path empowerments are welcome to attend this retreat.
Comfortable accommodation is available at Virupa Retreat Centre, and this retreat is fully catered with delicious vegetarian meals. All are welcome!
