Lama Choedak Yuthok Rinpoche first came to Canberra in 1986. After conducting several well-attended retreats, he implanted the seeds for the establishment of a centre for the propagation, practice and teaching of the holy Dharma.
Lama Choedak Rinpoche is the founder and spiritual director of Sakya Losal Choe Dzong as well as many other centres throughout Australia And New Zealand. He has been teaching meditation in the West for more than 25 years, and has an excellent understanding of the western mind.
In Tibetan Buddhism, lineage preserves the integrity of Buddha's teachings from generation to generation. The relationship between Master and Disciple is sacred.
